Bruins fans ready for 2017 Beat ’SC Bonfire and Rally


Things are about to heat up at UCLA with the annual Beat ’SC Bonfire and Rally. The much-anticipated event will be held in UCLA’s Wilson Plaza on Wednesday, Nov. 15 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thousands of UCLA football fans and members of the campus community will unite to show support for the Bruins, who will take the field against their crosstown rivals, the USC Trojans, on Saturday evening at the L.A. Coliseum. The rally is one of the largest outdoor gatherings on campus, and features student performances, the UCLA Spirit Squad and the UCLA football team.

5:30–6:30: Beat ’SC Carnival at Bruin Plaza (map)
6:30–7:30: Beat ’SC Bonfire and Rally at Wilson Plaza (map)


Participants include:

  • UCLA football coach Jim Mora and members of the UCLA football team
  • UCLA women’s basketball team
  • UCLA Spirit Squad and Marching Band
  • UCLA student dance and a capella groups


Limited parking for satellite trucks will be available at the bus cutout on Charles Young Drive North, on the north side of the street across from the Athletic Field. Wilson Plaza and the surrounding fire lanes/areas will not be available.
