Manchester United and Real Madrid to train at UCLA

Two of the world’s most popular professional soccer teams will train at UCLA this month in private practices.

Manchester United will be on campus July 10–22. Real Madrid will be on campus from July 12–27.

Practices are closed to the public.

Manchester United plays the L.A. Galaxy at the StubHub Center on July 15. This will be followed by matches against Real Salt Lake on July 17 in Sandy, Utah, at the Rio Tinto Stadium; Manchester City on July 20 in Houston, Texas, at NRG Stadium; Real Madrid on July 23 in Santa Clara at Levi’s Stadium; and FC Barcelona on July 26 in Landover, Maryland, at FedEx Field.

In addition to the July 23 game against Manchester United, Real Madrid will play Manchester City on July 27 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Limited portions of select practices at UCLA will be open to media. To cover practices at UCLA, and to gain access to news conferences, media must contact the following individuals and present Los Angeles Police Department media passes or other professional media credentials.
