Venice Family Clinic to break ground on Children’s Health and Wellness Center in Mar Vista

UCLA Health System affiliate will provide health care for 4,000 children annually


Venice Family Clinic, an affiliate of UCLA Health System, will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Children’s Health and Wellness Center, the first pediatric medical home on the Westside of Los Angeles. The new clinic, just down the street from the Mar Vista Gardens public housing development, will provide medical, dental, vision and mental health care for 4,000 children each year. Special features include fitness classes, a teaching kitchen, skylights and an herb garden.

Visuals will include photo ops of children and community leaders with hard hats and shovels, and renderings of the clinic.
