The UCLA Police Department was well represented during the World Police and Fire Games, held this month at more than 30 venues throughout Los Angeles. The 11-day Olympic-style event brought to the city nearly 10,000 competitors from police and fire departments in more than 20 countries.

UCLA’s Anthony Hall won a bronze medal in dodgeball, and seven other current UCLA officers and one retired officer participated: Justin Bell, Marcus Enfiedjian, Larry Johnson and Isaac Koh in police action pistol; Tiffanie Hand in outdoor soccer; Fabiola Leon and Miguel Banuelos (retired) in cross country; and Kevin Kilgore in cycling.

“These officers are commended on their achievements and representing our department, UCLA and our community in such a global competition as these games,” said Tony Lee, chief of the UCPD.
