The American Indian Movement protests the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Join the UCLA American Indian Studies Center in rallying on behalf of Native American efforts to preserve the environment. Celebrate indigenous culture and identity at this event, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 21 in UCLA’s Haines Hall, room A18.

Elder co-founder of the American Indian Movement, Dennis Banks, will speak alongside Robby Romero, a Native Rock recording artist. Romero and singer-songwriter Raye Zaragoza will provide music during the event. Tongva elder Gloria Arellanes will bless the event and participants.
