Do you have suggestions for improving campus safety? The UCLA Campus Safety Task Force, established by Chancellor Block following the tragic campus shooting on June 1, invites faculty, staff and students to a community forum on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. in the Collins Alumni Conference Room at the James West Alumni Center.
Input about your experience of and lessons learned from the June 1 incident will help the task force shape its final report and recommendations to campus leadership. Among the topics to be explored are identifying risks, preventing and reacting to acts of violence on campus, and improving communications in the event of such events.
For more information, go to the Campus Safety Task Force website, where you may also submit comments online.
