The Social Welfare Latino Caucus at UCLA presents a panel on incarceration, probation and rehabilitation within juvenile justice.
The panel, titled “Youth Resilient Voices,” will feature deputy Frederick Noya from the gang division unit at the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and a special youth panel from the Olympia Academy to talk about the experience of working with and being at-risk youth in gangs and on probation.
The event, which is free and open to the public, takes place from 12:30 to 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5 in the Public Affairs building, room 2343.
