Dr. Amy Rosenman has been installed as the new president of the American Urogynecologic Society, the nation's largest professional scientific organization devoted to the field of pelvic floor disorders, which affect almost one third of all women during their lifetime.
A Health Sciences clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the Division of Urogynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Rosenman is Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is an elected fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Rosenman is co-author, with Dr. William Parker, of the women’s health book, “The Incontinence Solution: Answers for Women of All Ages” (Simon and Schuster, 2002) and is a contributing author to the just-revised “A Gynecologist’s Second Opinion: the Questions and Answers You Need to Take Charge of Your Health” (Penguin/Plume).
Rosenman received her M.D. from New York Medical College and did her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UCLA.
