Dr. Lee Todd Miller is the new Associate Dean for Student Affairs in the David Geffen School of Medicine. Miller is a professor of clinical pediatrics and vice chair for education in the department of pediatrics. He is also a member of the medical school's Graduate Medical Education leadership team and director of the UCLA Global Health Education Program in the  UCLA Center for World Health.

"Lee has an extraordinary career in medical education as a widely respected leader, mentor and teacher," noted Dr. Clarence H. Braddock, professor of medicine and Vice Dean for Education at the Geffen School, in announcing Miller's appointment. "We are extremely fortunate to have someone as accomplished as Dr. Miller in this vital role ...  I am supremely confident that he will be an unwavering advocate for the best interests of our students, and a trusted partner in the education leadership team."

A respected teacher, Miller has received a record number of Golden Apple Awards from medical students at UCLA, and he is a recipient of a Distinguished Teaching Award from the University of California Academic Senate. In 2013, he received one of the preeminent awards in medical education, the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Award from the Association of American Medical Colleges.
