Eduardo Schwartz, Distinguished Professor of Finance at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, has been named by the International Association for Quantitative Finance (IAQF) and Sungard as the 2015 IAQF/SunGard Financial Engineer of the Year.
“Eduardo is an extraordinary talent,” said Steven Silberstein, chief technology officer of financial software company SunGard and an IAQF board member. “His pioneering work in modeling the uncertainty in pricing and rates is a hallmark of financial engineering.”
The award will be presented to Schwartz on Feb. 4 at the Museum of American Finance in New York City.
