Pussy Riot, the Russian feminist punk protest group based in Moscow, has made headlines all over the world for everything from its guerrilla performances to its political ideology and opposition to Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Maria Alyokhina, one of the group’s most outspoken members, comes to Royce Hall on Thursday, Feb. 11, 8 p.m. for "Art, Sex and Disobedience, a discussion with KCRW radio show “Art Talk” host Edward Goldman about Putin’s Russia, Pussy Riot’s protests and subsequent imprisonment, and the future of feminism and LGBT rights.
