UCLA’s Hammer Museum presents the latest “Flux” screening of short films, music videos, filmmaker retrospectives and visual artwork from around the world, on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Flux is a global, creative studio that celebrates film, art, music, design and culture -- a “hub where artists, filmmakers, writers, designers and dreamers have a platform to share their work, meet like-minded people and collaborate on unique projects.”
The Aug. 12 screening features Josh Soskin's short film, "La Carnada," fresh from its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival; Jackson Adams' amazing music video for Watsky’s “Whoa Whoa Whoa [All You Can Do]”; Ruben Fleischer’s ("Zombieland") new short film, "A Way In"; and the latest music video from the DANIELS & Zak Stoltz. The evening also includes new music videos for OK Go, Royal Blood, and DyE ft. Egyptian Lover, among others. Filmmaker presentations and a courtyard after-party will follow the screening.
