As the presidential election nears, join a panel of experts as they examine civil engagement and the future of voting. With technology enhancing many aspects of our daily lives, how will it affect the process of casting votes?
The discussion will be held Thursday, Jan. 14 from 6-8 p.m. in the Charles E. Young Grand Salon in Kerckhoff Hall at UCLA.
Dave Bryan, political reporter for CBS2/KCAL9, will moderate the discussion with the Hon. Alex Padilla, California Secretary of State; Conan Nolan, host of NBC4 Southern California’s “News Conference”; Jeffrey Lewis, chair of political science at UCLA; Matt Masterson, U.S. Election Assistance Commissioner; Christopher Hecht, data analytics expert; and Neal Kelley, president, CACEO Orange County Registrar of Voters.
