UCLA Transportation and UCLA Recreation will host a fun walk for Bruins on Thursday, Oct. 9, to celebrate Rideshare Week, a series of events to raise awareness about the benefits of sharing a ride for your campus commute.
The 20-minute walk will begin at noon at the Wilshire Center -- walkers are asked to meet there at 11:45 a.m. -- and will end in Bruin Plaza at the Rideshare Week Fair. The fair, which runs 10 a.m.-2 p.m., will feature information about ridesharing as well as assorted vendors and KNX 1070 airborne traffic reporter Jeff Baugh sharing his unique bird's-eye view on Southern California traffic.
