July 23: Screening of 'Moby Dick'

The UCLA Film and Television Archive hosts a screening of “Moby Dick” as part of the program, “John Huston: A Retrospective.” The program will run from June 17 through August 27 and will feature different films directed by John Huston.  

Moby Dick” is a film adaptation based on the novel of the same name. It follows the story of an obsessed sea captain, seeking revenge on a white whale that almost killed him. The film stars Gregory Peck, Richard Basehart and Leo Genn.

"Moby Dick” will screen Friday, July 23, at 7 p.m. in the Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum.
