The Fowler Museum hosts Azeezat Abiola Amusat as she discusses her head wrap designs and demonstrates the wrapping of one elaborate style. Her unique wraps are on display as part of the exhibit "African-Print Fashion Now."

“African-Print Fashion Now” introduces visitors to a dynamic and diverse African dress tradition and the increasingly interconnected fashion worlds that it inhabits. All feature the colorful, boldly designed, manufactured cotton textiles that have come to be known as African-print cloth. Head wraps on the continent of Africa are as dynamic and diverse as the African-Print cloth fashions they complement.

Azeezat Abiola Amusat will present at the Fowler Museum Galleries on Wed., July 26, from noon to 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the Fowler Museum event page.
