Young patients at Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA dressed up in Halloween costumes and went trick-or-treating through the hospital's hallways today (Oct. 31). More than 50 departments and groups from UCLA Health, the campus and the community set up stations and handed out goodies. Along the trick-or-treat route, kids also visited with costumed dogs from the UCLA People-Animal Conection, an animal-assisted therapy program.

The annual event was organized by the hospital's Chase Child Life Program, and the kids' costumes were donated by Spirit Halloween stores.
