Journalists Dylan Byers and Sasha Issenberg discuss the love-hate relationship between the media and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, the science of political campaigns and more in “On the Media — Covering Donald Trump,” Tuesday, May 17, 6 p.m. at the California NanoSystems Institute.
Presidential election expert Lynn Vavreck, UCLA professor of political science and communication studies, will moderate the discussion. Byers is senior reporter for media and politics at CNN, and Issenberg is a contributor to Bloomberg Politics and the Washington correspondent for Monocle.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is the latest in the UCLA Department of Political Science’s “U HEARD IT HERE: 2016 Presidential Election Series.”
