The UCLA Healthy Campus Initiative (HCI) is now accepting nominations for the inaugural Jane Semel Healthy Campus Initiative Staff Appreciation and Recognition Award. The award honors staff who make significant contributions to advancing the goals and objectives of HCI in promoting physical and psychological health and wellness at UCLA. Jane Semel, along with her husband, Terry, has been a crucial supporter of HCI and a driving force behind its success since its inception in 2012.
Nominations can be made by submitting a one-page letter describing why you or the person you are suggesting is deserving of this award. Please include specific examples of the nominee’s contributions, along with the name and email of the nominee and his or her department, and supervisor’s name and email address. Multiple signatures for the same individual will be viewed favorably in the selection process. Send nominations by April. 6 to lino@conet.ucla.edu.
The awards are non-monetary and will be presented at the HCI Symposium on April 30.
