Nominations are now being accepted for the 2018 Excellence Awards, which honor outstanding managers and staff who have made significant contributions to their organizations and UCLA. Lubbe Levin, UCLA associate vice chancellor, campus human resources, announced the start of this year’s nomination period in partnership with UCLA’s Administrative Management Group.
Nominations are being accepted for the following awards:
- Distinguished Career Award
This award recognizes an individual who has led a distinguished career over a significant period of time at the university, has shared invaluable institutional knowledge with others and has made important contributions to the campus as a whole.
- EXCEL Award
This award honors management excellence, by recognizing an individual who has had a significant and lasting impact on the people he/she leads, and who exemplifies the leadership qualities that UCLA values.
- Rising Star Award
This award spotlights an individual with high potential to make a positive impact throughout his/her career, and who has established a leadership role on campus, while pursuing training and development opportunities for career growth.
Program criteria and a nomination form for all three 2018 Excellence Awards are available on the AMG Excellence Awards web portal.
The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. on Friday, April 6.
