Oct. 2: FBI presentation for National Cyber Security Awareness Month

UCLA’s information security office will host a free presentation by Michael Sohn, supervisory special agent of the FBI, titled “How cyber criminals seek to victimize you and what you can do about it.”

Sohn currently leads a squad in Los Angeles that is responsible for investigating computer and high-technology crimes involving national security matters. His experience involves cyber terrorism and various criminal computer intrusion matters.

The event, which is open to all staff, faculty, students and the public, will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2 in the Bruin Reception Room in Ackerman Union.
