Open enrollment is underway and will end on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. Please review your benefits and choices at the UC open enrollment site to make sure you have the coverage you need for 2018.
Here are some important changes for 2018:
- The same medical insurance plans are available, but most plans’ premiums will have increases for 2018. Premium increases will typically be less than $10 a month; increases for UC Care will range from $17 to $53 a month. Click here for the new rates.
- UC Care PPO and UC Health Savings Plan — New Pharmacy Administrator: Anthem Blue Cross is replacing OptumRx in administering pharmacy benefits for UC Care and UC Health Savings Plan. Anthem will now be the medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy benefit provider for all PPO plans. Click here for additional information.
- Flexible Spending Accounts: If you want to continue or enroll in the Health Care Flexible Spending Account or in Dep Care FSA for calendar year 2018, you must take action to enroll during this Open Enrollment period. You are not automatically enrolled from year to year.
- The ARAG Legal plan is open for enrollment: The ARAG Legal Insurance plan provides UC employees access to basic, personal legal help. The plan provides online, over-the-phone or in-person access and covers specific legal services. Monthly premiums range from $10.87 to $16.31 per month. Click here for additional information.
Campus Human Resources will provide a telephone hotline (310-794-0421) for any open enrollment questions. The telephone hotline will be available Monday through Friday, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Campus Human Resources open enrollment sessions are also available for your enrollment at www.lms.ucla.edu. To sign up, use your UCLA logon credentials, search “open enrollment,” and register for the “Open enrollment for UCLA employees only” trainings.
