Patricia Greenfield, professor of psychology in the UCLA College, has been awarded the Ernst E. Boesch Prize by the German Society of Cultural Psychology.

Granted biannually, this award commemorates Boesch, who was pioneer of cultural psychology. Recipients of this award are recognized for their major impact on cultural psychological research.

Greenfield’s research has focused on the relationship between culture and human development. She is a past recipient of the American Association for the Advancement of Science Award for Behavioral Science Research and the APA Urie Bronfenbrenner Award for Lifetime Contribution to Developmental Psychology in the Service of Science and Society.
