Art professor Barbara Kruger is currently being featured in a solo exhibition at Sprüth Magers, an international gallery dedicated to exhibiting modern and contemporary art in Berlin. The exhibit, titled “FOREVER,” opened Sept. 16 and will run until Dec. 22.

Kruger’s work, which occupies all four walls and the floor of the gallery’s main exhibition space, creates an immersive “room-wrap,” a staple in Kruger’s past works. The exhibition also features several new vinyl works. The boldly designed textual statements on the nature of truth, power, belief and doubt embody the distinctive visual language of Kruger.

Kruger is internationally known for her distinctive image and text pieces and has been active in a range of fields, including video and audio installation, photography, sculpture, architecture, and graphic design as well as in critical writing, curatorship and various forms of public advocacy. Recently, she created installations for the Broad Contemporary Art Museum at LACMA, the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Sweden, and the Price Center at the UC San Diego.
