UCLA engineering professor Dennis Hong, one of the world’s leading designers of humanoid robots, served as host of the May 21 premiere of “Robot Revolution,” an exhibit at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry.

Director of the award-winning robotics lab, RoMeLa (Robotics and Mechanisms Laboratory) at the UCLA School of Engineering and Applied Science, Hong served as an expert adviser to the museum’s exhibit development team. Several of his robot creations are featured in the exhibit, which also includes educational videos in which he appears.

“Robot Revolution” runs through Jan. 3, 2016 in Chicago, then goes on tour to museums around the country.
