The Semel HCI Center at UCLA and organizers from its MoveWell working group or “pod” invite the campus community to a mid-day mixer and fun and games break on Oct. 11 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Court of Sciences.
The event celebrates the importance of the center's mission to make the healthy choice the easy choice through options for social connectedness, moving and being moved, and the center’s inclusion in the UC Healthy Campus Network, a coalition inspired by UCLA’s Healthy Campus Initiative that is dedicated to advancing a culture of health and wellbeing across all 10 University of California campuses.
In addition to a selection of games and activities, including giant chess and Jenga, guests will have an opportunity to mingle with representatives from the Semel HCI Center at UCLA; learn more about the work being done by the center, its eight pods and the UC Healthy Campus Network, and the various ways for students, staff and faculty members to get involved.

The assortment of games and activities featured at this event are part of a weekly ThursYay! series, which runs each Thursday in the Court of Sciences from noon to 2 p.m.
