UCLA Health’s hospitals and clinics have again been recognized among the nation’s leaders in utilizing technology to improve the quality of patient care.
UCLA Health earned a “Most Wired” designation for the sixth consecutive year and ranked in the top 10 in an annual survey conducted by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. More than 640 organizations representing 2,190 hospitals from nine countries submitted surveys, and only 254 organizations received the designation.
UCLA Health is investing in advanced information systems to better connect with other health care providers to enable a more seamless patient experience. Its electronic health record system enables patients to communicate with caregivers, access test results, request prescription refills and manage appointments through the myUCLAHealth portal.
