March 13: UCLA Law hosts screening of 'The Freedom to Marry'

The screening features the award-winning documentary, discussion about the fight for marriage equality

UCLA Law School's OUTLaw, the Williams Institute and the Office for Student Affairs host a screening of “The Freedom to Marry” on Monday, March 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the UCLA School of Law in room 1457. The film will be followed by a light reception and discussion.

Hailed as “moving and inspiring” by The Boston Globe, the award-winning documentary follows the battle to achieve marriage equality. The discussion after the screening will consist of a Q&A with Evan Wolfson, whose four-decade fight to change the law, is featured in the movie, and filmmakers Eddie Rosenstein and Amie Segal.
