Join UCLA's first lady, Mrs. Carol Block, and fellow Staff Assembly members in cheering on the UCLA women's basketball team as they face off against Arizona on Sunday, Jan. 29. Enjoy a reception in the Morgan Center's press room before walking over to Pauley Pavilion for the game. This event is a wonderful opportunity to meet the First Lady in an informal setting, enjoy lunch, win raffle prizes and support Bruin athletics. The event is sponsored by the Chancellor's Office and UCLA Staff Assembly, and co-hosted by UCLA Athletics. The package includes:
- Two complimentary tickets to the game
- Free admission for two to Mrs. Block's VIP pre-game reception
- Raffle prizes
Dress code is game day casual: UCLA spirit blue and gold.
The application deadline is Friday, Jan. 20. A random selection process will choose 25 respondents to attend the event (each person may bring one guest). Those who are selected will be notified by Jan. 24. To ensure that the maximum number may participate, those who have been selected to attend a past VIP Reception and game may not apply again.
