Jon Michaels is a professor in the UCLA School of Law and an expert on how government works, national security law and constitutional law. Michaels’ current scholarship centers on government privatization and the practical and constitutional implications of running government like a business. He is an authority on bureaucracy and the regulatory state, privatization of domestic and national security functions, presidential powers, government ethics and conflicts of interest.
