Steven Wallace, professor of community health sciences in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and associate director at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research, is an expert on aging in communities of color. He has published widely on access to long-term care by diverse elderly groups, disparities in the consequences of health policy changes on racial/ethnic minority elderly and the politics of aging. Wallace has also published research on health and policy issues of older Latinos, Asian-Pacific Islander Americans and African Americans, and on access to care issues of Mexican immigrants.
Wallace is also an expert on immigrant health and health care policy for immigrants.
