Dr. Daniel Uslan is an associate clinical professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and director of the UCLA Antimicrobial Stewardship Program in the UCLA Health System. Uslan is an expert on the use of antibiotics and infectious disease, including how the overuse of antibiotics can help create drug-resistant strains of disease.
Uslan directs the antibiotic oversight program for the UCLA Health System. His research is on antibiotic use, medical device infections including pacemaker infections, and epidemiology of infections. His clinical interests include bloodstream infections, surgical infections, endocarditis and other cardiovascular infections and neurological infections.
