Nan D. Hunter is legal scholarship director at the Williams Institute and an expert on sexuality and gender law and also health law. Hunter is also professor of law and associate dean for graduate programs at Georgetown University Law Center. Before beginning her teaching career, Hunter founded the LGBT Rights and AIDS Projects at the national ACLU headquarters in New York and during the Clinton Administration, she served as Deputy General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
