Rui Wang is an assistant professor of urban planning at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and an expert in how environmental, transportation and urban development issues interact when it comes to creating policy, especially in China and the United States. Wang’s research focuses on the policy analysis of sustainable urban development, particularly green transportation, climate change, air quality, public health and environmental economic geography in the United States and in China.
Wang is also a member of the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability.
