UCLA's cogeneration plant
UCLA's cogeneration plant is twice as efficient as a normal power plant. It uses waste heat from electricity generation to produce steam and chilled water for heating and cooling. The natural gas fueled plant produces less carbon dioxide than diesel or coal-burning plants.
