Before coming to UCLA, Kaylin Wesley, left, received mentorship through UCLA's VIP Scholars program. As an undergraduate, she gave back to the program by mentoring students at her former high school. Among these students was Ariel Mengistu, who is now completing her freshman year at UCLA.
