UCLA faculty experts advisory: Quake preparedness drill hits Southland

The Great Southern California ShakeOut on Nov. 13 is being billed as the largest earthquake preparedness exercise in U.S. history. UCLA has several faculty members with earthquake-related expertise.
 
David Jackson, professor of Earth and space sciences, is a geophysicist who conducts statistical analyses aimed at determining the probability of earthquakes, especially in Southern California. [Full bio]
