UCLA faculty experts advisory: 9.4% unemployment rate highest since 1983

The U.S. Department of Labor announced June 5 that the national unemployment rate rose to 9.4 percent in May, up from 8.9 percent in April. Some 14.5 million people are currently out of work. UCLA has experts.
