Three Support Groups Help Women With Cancer; Groups Sponsored by the Rhonda Fleming Mann Resource Center at UCLA

MIND-BODY APPROACHES TO COPING WITH CANCER
WHAT: In this support group, women with cancer and their partners can learn how mind-body strategies may help them manage stress, communicate more effectively and speed recovery from surgery or other cancer treatments.
WHEN: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays from Jan. 15 to Feb. 5.
COUPLES SUPPORT GROUP
WHAT: This support group teaches women with cancer and their partners how to manage the challenges of living with the disease and better understand how it affects their relationships.
WHEN: 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays.
WHAT: This group shows women with cancer how meditation may help them cope effectively with pain, stress and fatigue.
WHEN: 1:45 to 3:15 p.m. on Thursdays from Jan. 13 to March 2.
