Buddhist scholar Robert Thurman to speak Nov. 5
One of Time magazine's 25 most influential Americans in 1997, Robert Thurman, professor of Buddhist studies at Columbia University, will address the role of Tibetan Buddhist art, science and religion in academia and in the culture at large. His lecture will take place Monday, Nov. 5, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Charles E. Young Grand Salon in UCLA's Kerckhoff Hall.
