Biography
Magali Delmas is an associate professor of management and director of the Center for Corporate Environmental Performance at the UCLA Institute of the Environment. The center coordinates research and teaching related to the measurement of the environmental impact of corporations and their products, as well as the analysis of green business strategies and their effect on markets and consumers.
 
Delmas' research seeks to understand how environmental regulatory policies influence business strategies and performance and how companies influence policy. She develops methodologies to measure and communicate the environmental performance of companies and to evaluate the effectiveness of voluntary strategies to mitigate climate change, especially by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
