Natalie Golda

Natalie Golda, a member of the U.S. team in Beijing, is considered one of the greatest women's water polo players of all time. Her senior leadership helped guide the 2005 Bruins to their seventh national championship. She received the Cutino Award, given to the best player in women's collegiate water polo. At the 2004 Olympic games in Athens, she scored two goals, one against Hungary and another against Australia, and helped the team win a bronze medal. She went to high school in La Habra, CA where, in addition to water polo, she lettered in both softball and volleyball. Her hobbies include writing, listening to music and playing football. She is blogging during the Games for the NBC Olympics website.
