UCLA Dept. of World Arts and Cultures/Dance announces events for fall 2012

The UCLA Department of World Arts and Cultures/Dance (WACD) is offering a variety of events for the public's enjoyment this fall. The department's emphasis is threefold: cross-cultural research, dance and community outreach.
For events at Glorya Kaufman Hall, including those at the Glorya Kaufman Dance Theater, all-day parking ($11) and short-term parking (payable at pay stations) are available in Lot 4 (enter the campus at Sunset Boulevard and Westwood Plaza). '48 Hours to Action'

For this culminating event of World AIDS Day, UCLA student artists have just 48 hours to create a new performance piece/art piece in response to an HIV-related theme. "48 Hours to Action" affirms healthy sexuality, encourages open communication and underscores the importance of HIV-status awareness for the campus community.
