UCLA faculty experts advisory: Peru's Vargas Llosa wins Nobel Prize in literature
Mario Vargas Llosa, the acclaimed Peruvian author of more than 30 novels, plays and esays and a well-known political activist, has been awarded the 2010 Nobel Prize in literature. UCLA has experts.
Efraín Kristal, a UCLA professor of comparative literature and of Spanish and Portuguese, is an expert on Latin American literature.
