Al-Qaeda founder and leader Osama bin Laden was killed in a U.S. operation in Pakistan, President Obama announced. Bin Laden was accused of masterminding a number of international atrocities, including the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington on Sept. 11, 2001. UCLA has experts.
