Canadian author and master of the short story Alice Munro has been awarded the 2013 Nobel Prize in literature. UCLA has an expert.
Mona Simpson is a professor of English and a critically acclaimed author whose novels include "Anywhere But Here," "A Regular Guy," "The Lost Father" and "Off Keck Road." She teaches a course in popular contemporary authors and runs a lecture series that has brought leading North American authors, including Alice Munro, to the UCLA Hammer Museum.
