Sabertoothed Cat Less Fearsome Than Thought
Asian News International today reports on research by Blaire Van Valkenburgh, UCLA professor of ecology and evolutionary biology, and colleagues showing that among prehistoric big cats, male sabertoothed cats were likely less aggressive than closely related male American lions.
