L.A. Graduation Rate on the Decline
The Los Angeles Times reported Saturday on a study conducted at UCLA’s Institute for Democracy, Education and Access that showed a decline in the number of students graduating from Los Angeles public high schools. Jeannie Oakes, institute director and UCLA Presidential Professor of Educational Equity, and John Rogers, institute co-director and UCLA assistant professor of education, were quoted.
