Henry Angsar Kelly, UCLA professor emeritus of English, was interviewed Wednesday on KMEX-Channel 34 and KNX-1070 AM about the election of Argentina's Jorge Mario Bergoglio as the 266th Roman Catholic pontiff and the first pope from Latin America.
Anderson Forecast: Economy Ramps Up
The UCLA Anderson Forecast's latest quarterly outlook for the U.S. and California economies was highlighted Wednesday by the Associated Press, the Los Angeles Daily News, United Press International, LA Observed, KCAL-Channel 9, KPCC-89.3 FM, KCRW-89.9 FM and KABC-790 AM. Forecast senior economist Jerry Nickelsburg was interviewed on KPCC and quoted in the L.A. Daily News; Forecast director Edward Leamer was interviewed on KCAL.
