Prof Gives Tips on Alzheimer’s Disease
Gary Small, Parlow-Solomon Professor on Aging at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA and director of the UCLA Center on Aging, was featured Monday in 11 short video interviews about Alzheimer’s disease on the ABC News website.
Law Prof: Bankruptcy Billing Practices Illegal
A Wall Street Journal blog and Bloomberg reported Wednesday on a study by Lynn LoPucki, Security Pacific Bank Professor of Law at the UCLA School of Law, and Joseph Doherty, a statistician at the UCLA School of Law, that examined billing practices by bankruptcy attorneys in public-company bankruptcies between 1998 and 2007. Bloomberg reported Thursday on LoPucki's estimate of the legal fees that will be incurred in Chrysler’s bankruptcy filing.
